Illusive Space

• MFA Thesis Exhibition.  Installation consisting of wall painting, wire cables, spray painted fabric, and video projections.  The videos depict different light effects which were filmed in the gallery during the months preceding the exhibition. It was my intention that they record a different dimension of the “life” of the gallery space. I wanted them to reveal how subtle external shifts, such as the angle of the sun or the passing traffic, affect ones perception of the space.

Window Project

• Site-specific installation consisting of painters tape, dowel rods, and scrim fabric.  This piece developed in response to a building being constructed outside of my studio window.  Over a period of several months I traced the developing structure with strips of blue tape, and then extended these lines into my studio with a series of painted dowel rods.
